Biography
Aidan Smart was born in 1998 on the coast of Maine. At university, Aidan served as a student representative and co-curator of Gallery One. In 2020 he was a finalist for the School of Art nomination to the Yale School of Art Norfolk Fellowship. Most recently, he has managed and lead all mold production at Independent Casting, a fine art bronze casting company. Aidan’s current studio practice involves making decorative objects inspired by the natural word. Activating these objects through daily use constantly questions how a body relates to an environment, reimagining a symbiotic relationship between body and space. He currently lives and works in Philadelphia, PA.
